Funds are intended to help stimulate local economies, so projects promoting the creation, expansion, and stability of small business will be prioritized. In addition to the following activities, the JDA will accept applications addressing other business needs. Applications will be reviewed from the standpoint of economic feasibility and the strength of each application. Eligible projects include: facade improvements, marketing & signage, business start-up, business expansion, and business retention. A 1:1 match is required.
ELIGIBILITY:
- Eligible applicants must be located in Mountrail County and include: for-profit businesses, individuals, incorporated cities, park districts, and non-profit organizations.
DEADLINE:
- Three rounds per year; 2026 deadlines are April 10, June 30, and September 30.
