How much does the program cost?
The comprehensive program fee of $675 covers attendance for all 11 sessions, offering participants 40 hours of immersive, hands-on training. Additionally, participants will receive an interactive, inclusive guidebook and will graduate with a customized portfolio and a branded pitch deck. Is this program right for me and my business?
Business Leadership Intensives are designed to challenge you as a business owner and leader. Throughout the program, you will share your experiences and insights and challenge yourself to reimagine the way you do business. This program may align with you if:
- Business is past the business ideation phase and is moving forward
- Interest in applicable, hands-on learning and coaching with a group of like-minded entrepreneurs
- Employ less than 5 workers
- Can identify areas for improvement but not the strategy to solve them
- Are open to constructive criticism for the benefit of your business

How can I participate in this program?
You can submit an application on this page during the inquiry period. The application will require you to answer questions about your business and leadership style. Once reviewed, you may be selected for a virtual interview based on your availability. Final participants will be chosen 7-14 days from the interview.
What technology do I need to participate?
To participate in the program, you will need access to a computer with a webcam and microphone. Other platforms used throughout the course are an email, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, GroupMe, and Adobe Reader. All of these platforms have a free version and will not need to be purchased.
What if I experience technical difficulties outside of our scheduled session time?
Are you having trouble submitting an intake form? Do you need help setting up training software for one of our programs? Click here to book a time to connect virtually with NDWBC to troubleshoot any issues you may be experiencing. Please note that if you have internet connectivity issues or computer crashes, we recommend contacting your local internet service provider and/or your local IT support/computer repair company. This is not something the NDWBC will be able to help troubleshoot.

What are the sessions like?
Weekly sessions are 3 hours long with a 30-minute networking opportunity. They will lead by a facilitator and may feature presentations from a guest subject matter expert or business owner. Each session will include open discussions, in-class activities, and small group breakout sessions.
Will there be homework?
Yes, you will be expected to complete assignments weekly and prepare a final pitch that you can add to your business portfolio. NDWBC’s certified business coaches will have office hours available to help you work through assignments or ask your questions.
Will I be required to share personal financial information?
No, it’s not a requirement. You are free to share as much or as little as you would like during open discussions.
Is there a refund policy if something comes up and I can't complete the course?
Applicants may withdraw their application until the day applications close with a 100% refund. Cancellations one week before the first session will be charged a $100 cancellation fee, and cancellations after this date will be charged $350. The cancellation fee is nonrefundable.
Are the sessions recorded?
It is important for all participants to feel comfortable sharing about their business. Due to participant confidentiality, we do not record sessions.
