2026 Women’s Business Summit Sells Out, Highlighting Demand for Advanced Business Education and Entrepreneur Peer Connection

The North Dakota Women’s Business Center (NDWBC) announced that its 2026 Women’s Business Summit, scheduled for May 5–7 in Medora, has officially sold out. This underscores strong statewide demand for high‑quality business education and meaningful connection among entrepreneurs.

Designed for small business owners at all stages, the three‑day Summit brings together driven, like‑minded entrepreneurs for focused learning, strategic conversations, and practical tools that support long‑term business growth. Programming emphasizes core business fundamentals and advanced decision‑making, with sessions centered on branding strategy, financial clarity, marketing investment, leadership development, and operational alignment.

“Many small business owners spend most of their time responding to immediate needs and fires, clients, staff, and daily operations,” said Christy Dauer, Executive Director of the North Dakota Women’s Business Center. “Summit is intentionally designed to create space to step back and work on your business. When owners have time to think strategically and focus on the bigger picture, they make stronger decisions that move their businesses forward.”

Unlike traditional conferences, the Women’s Business Summit is intentionally structured to foster both education and connection. Attendees engage in keynote sessions, hands‑on workshops, and facilitated discussions that encourage peer learning and honest dialogue around the real challenges of entrepreneurship. The agenda is paced to allow participants to step away from daily operations, think strategically about their businesses, and leave with actionable next steps and renewed direction.

A defining feature of the Summit is its emphasis on relationship‑building among women business owners who share a commitment to growth. Curated networking opportunities and small‑group discussions are designed to help participants build trusted peer relationships, exchange ideas, and learn from one another’s experiences creating value that extends well beyond the event itself.

To support continued learning beyond the in‑person event, Summit attendees receive access to Voxa, NDWBC’s business owner platform. Voxa provides centralized access to schedules, speaker information, resources, and ongoing educational content, allowing participants to revisit insights and continue their learning after returning home.

The 2026 Women’s Business Summit is made possible through the support of sponsors and partners committed to strengthening main street businesses, local communities, and strengthening North Dakota’s economy.
